Using the Directory
This directory contains information and contact details of key legal or legal-related agencies for disadvantaged people in the Hunter (including the Great Lakes and Taree local government areas)
The Hunter Community Legal Directory is available in two formats. The PDF version is pre sorted into categories and is easy to download, print off and use. The Microsoft Excel version can be downloaded and sorted into various categories as required.

will need the Adobe Acrobat reader on your computer to view files within our website.
The Adobe Acrobat Reader is available free of charge from the Adobe website.
The directory is also available on this site in a Microsoft Excel version which can be searched, sorted and printed to meet the user's specific needs. This version also contains the latest updates to the directory.
If you don't have Microsoft Excel installed on
your computer then you can use Excel Viewer
to open, view, and print Excel workbooks.
If you are not sure where to start, you have the option of first ringing a state-wide free legal information service called LAW ACCESS NSW 1300 888 529 to find out what area of law the problem is in and what resources may be available. The Hunter Legal Directory will then help pinpoint more local resources.
